Instrumentation and equipment forms the largest sector within the market, with sales worth an estimated £1.83bn in 2010, accounting for 59.8% of the total market value. The net exports of laboratory equipment from the UK make a strong positive contribution to GDP.
This industry sector can network at four trade shows organised by Messe München, all within the analytica show family. The European market is reached in Munich with a biannual event, the next one taking place in April 2022. The shows further afield – analytica Vietnam, analytica China and analytica Anacon India – allow exhibitors to promote their exports in these rapidly growing markets.
