BAU is the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems. Internationality is key: we welcomed exhibitors from 49 countries in 2023, as well as 80,000 international visitors, 40% of total visitor numbers. It is the leading trade fair in Europe and a global benchmark. At the same time, the trade fair has remained down to earth and approachable as well as being highly organised into key sectors. Additionally there is a strong supporting programme of conferences, awards, guided tours and much more.
In 2023, BAU took place in person after a four year break. The show attracted 2,260 exhibitors, an increase on pre covid numbers. Approximately 190,000 visitors attended. In a post show survey, BAU 2023 was rated good to excellent by 93% of exhibitors and an impressive 98% of visitors.
2023 also saw the launch of BAU Insights, a digital platform to complement the show which is available all year round. It got off to a successful start with 40,000 people accessing it every day.
BAU 2025 will take place from 13th-18th January 2025.
